Bare Feet.

My roommate grows alarmed when she sees me wandering around the apartment without slippers on.

Yesterday she explained, “Turkish people, we say that if you go around like this,” she gestured to my bare toes, “you won’t be able to make a baby.”

“In that case,” I said, “I may never wear shoes again.”

  1. Apparently Turkish people also think that government should control healthcare. Maybe they should make a law against being barefoot in your own home. 😉
